SLU Global is a unit at the Vice-Chancellor's Office that supports SLU’s work for global development to contribute to Agenda 2030.

How is SLU addressing climate change?

The UN Climate Change Conference, COP29, is currently underway in Azerbaijan. SLU is addressing climate issues in various ways, providing decision-making support, generating knowledge, and conducting research on climate solutions.

UN and SLU in new collaboration

A delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) visited SLU in Uppsala. An agreement was signed between FAO and the university to further strengthen the long-standing collaboration.

AgriFoSe2030

The programme targets the UN Sustainable Development Goal 2 - "End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture" in low-income countries. We synthesise and translate existing science into policy and practice, and develop capacity to achieve this.
