My name is Faraz Muneer and I am Postdoc at Department of Plant Breeding, SLU, Alnarp. My key areas of research are bioploymers, biobased materials/composites and nanomaterials, (nano-fibrous materials) and use of Agro-industrial side-streams in bioeconomy.
Presentation
I have knowledge and background in marco/molecules from plant origin (e.g. proteins, starch and lignocellulosic material) and their processing into environmentaly friendly.
Special areas of interest are,
- Chemistry and structure of biomacromolecules in materials
- Materials and bicomposite processing and analysis techniques
- Fractionation, food processing and analysis
- Use of agricultural side-streams in bioeconomy
