I am an ecotoxicologist who is interested in studying pollution from molecular effects to changes in ecosystem dynamics. Previous research has been on environmental occurrence, bioaccumualtion, and stereoselective toxicity of cyanobacterial toxins, as well as the effects of wastewater discharge on endocrine disruption and pharmaceutical uptake in rainbow trout, wastewater-based epidemiology of COVID-19, the influence of pH on uptake/depuration of ionizable contaminants, heavy metal accumulation in Great Lakes prey fish, and others.
