Jag är en disputerad bioteknolog med intresse för veterinärmedicinsk bakteriologi, molekylärbiologi, bioinformatik, proteinteknologi, vaccinologi med mera!
Jag gjorde mitt doktorsarbete om Dichelobacter nodosus och fotröta hos får (2012-2016) och mitt postdoktorsarbete om Campylobacter hos slaktkyckling (2017-2019).
Sedan december 2022 är jag docent i biomedicinsk vetenskap med inriktning veterinärmedicinsk bakteriologi.
Aktiviteter/uppdrag i akademiska omvärlden:
Ledamot i redaktionen för BMC Microbiology sedan 2023.

Vaccin mot Streptococcus suis på gris samt Staphylococcus aureus på nöt.
Streptococcus equi och kvarka hos häst - Vaccin och diagnostik.
Utveckling av nytt diagnostiskt test för att förbygga klövsjukdomar hos får. Projektledare (Petra Lundbergs stiftelse 2023-2025.
Utveckling av ett förbättrat och objektivt diagnostiskt verktyg för smittsamt klöveksem (digital dermatit) hos nötkreatur. Projektdeltagare (Stiftelsen Seydlitz MP bolagen 2023-2025; Projektledare Anna Rosander).
Typning av Campylobacter-isolat för en ökad kunskap om överföring av Campylobacter hos kyckling i samband med delad slakt. Projektledare (Sandberg 2023-2024).
Bekämpning av kolibacillos hos fjäderfä: åtgärder för att förebygga utbrott. Projektdeltagare (SLF 2022-2024; Projektledare Ingrid Hansson).
