With climate change, we can expect toxic algal blooms to become more frequent, making it important to understand what toxins algae produce and under what conditions. Therefore, we have initiated a knowledge centre focused on analysis and knowledge to strengthen the understanding of harmful algal toxins.
The knowledge centre is a collaborative project between the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) and the Swedish National Food Agency.
