Funding for trials and development projects with focus on plant protection

The Swedish Board of Agriculture announces project grants for the period of 25 September to 31 December 2013. The call is targeted on the national environmental objective “A Non-Toxic Environment”. Applications must be submitted by 11 October and the amount is about 800 000 SEK to be used before the end of the year. A final report is requested to 1 February 2014.

Priority areas are:

  1. Biological, physical and other non-chemical means and methods to replace chemical methods as keystones for future control strategies.
  2. What is the cost of preventive and alternative measures in plant protection?
  3. Customized control through more efficient spraying techniques.
