Research money for organic food and farming

The Swedish Farmers’ Foundation for Agricultural Research will announce 12.5 million SEK for research in organic production and consumption under an agreement with the Research Council Formas. The call is implemented in collaboration with KRAV Economic Association who has set apart 500 000 SEK to the venture.

The call for organic production and consumption research is made within the Swedish Farmers’ Foundation for Agricultural Research’s ordinary autumn announcement with a closing date of 1 October 2013. Applications are submitted and processed in one of the foundation's ordinary research programmes:

• bioenergy
• field trials
• entrepreneurship
• meat
• milk
• potato
chicken for fattening
• sugar
• garden
• ley and forage
• plant breeding
• crop production
