The Board of Agriculture organized R & D days for organic production with the theme "Profitability in short and long term – Robust production systems" 9-10 April 2014. Advisors, farmers and researchers met and discussed organic production and the latest research findings.
The days consisted of three parallel tracks:
• research in animal husbandry,
• research in crop production and
• research in horticulture.
The days began with a joint discussion session where researchers, advisors and farmers revealed their thoughts. The days also ended with a plenary session, with news about the new Rural Development Programme and an interesting market report from Ekoweb.
