A new project period for IDA 2025-2026 is announced by SLU Future Food in collaboration with SLU Urban Futures. Here you will find important dates for the call and the project period.

  • 5 Dec 2024: Call for applications to IDA 4 (2025-2026) opens
  • 15 Jan 2025: Q&A session and match making  (lunch webinar on Zoom)
  • 29 Jan 2025: Q&A session and match making  (lunch webinar on Zoom)
  • 5 February 2025: Lunch webinar: Introduction to IDA with Programme Director Marie Stenseke
  • 12 March 2025: Application deadline for IDA 4 (2025-2026)
  • 11 April 2025: Application deadline for extra call for IDA 4 (2025-2026)
  • 16 April 2025: Decision regarding applying theme groups in IDA 4 (2025-2026) regarding the original call with the application deadline 12 March
  • Spring 2025: Decision regarding applying theme groups in the extra call for IDA 4 (2025-2026)
  • 27 Aug 2025 (prel.):  Presentation of results from IDA 3 (2024-2025) in the morning and workshop on interdisciplinarity at SLU in the afternoon
  • 1 September 2025: The groups in IDA 4 (2025-2026) start their work
  • 3-4 September 2025: First physical meeting for the theme groups in IDA 4 (2025-2026)
  • 30 April 2026: End of project period for IDA 4 (2025-2026)
  • Beginning of autumn semester 2026: Closing of IDA 4 (2025-2026) with open workshop at SLU

On 15 and 29 January and 5 February 2025, SLU Future Food and SLU Urban Futures will arrange lunch webinars that tell you more about IDA 4 (2025-2026) with Q&A and "match-making", i.e. the opportunity to connect with other SLU researchers for collaboration on an application.

Facts:

The Interdisciplinary Academy (IDA) is an interdisciplinary initiative at SLU that aims to strengthen interdisciplinary competence throughout the university. IDA started in 2022 with funding from SLU Future Food and the NJ Faculty. From 2025, the initiative will be funded jointly by SLU Future Food and SLU Urban Futures.
