SLU has two-year master’s programmes with a holistic view on food production, such as Agroecology, Food and Landscape as well as Sustainable Food Systems. Within master’s programmes Plant Biology for Sustainable Production and Horticultural Science it is possible to learn more about plant breeding.

Admission is subject to prior knowledge and the availability of places in the course.

In addition, students have possibility to perform practical research training course (15 ects) in a research group at SLU. Within EU, Erasmus internship is a possibility. In both cases, students take contact with a research group leader beforehand.
