Programmes

SLU has two-year master’s programmes with a holistic view on food production, such as AgroecologyFood and Landscape as well as Sustainable Food Systems. Within master’s programmes Plant Biology for Sustainable Production and Horticultural Science it is possible to learn more about plant breeding. ​

Courses

Below you find some SLU courses related to genetics, plant breeding and food production, given in English. 

Admission depends on prior knowledge and the number of places available.

In addition, students have possibility to perform practical research training course (15 ects) in a research group at SLU. Within EU, Erasmus internship is a possibility. In both cases, students take contact with a research group leader beforehand.
