Thematic groups

The members of SLU Partnership Alnarp have the opportunity to meet in thematic groups for in-depth dialogue on specific issues. Our seven thematic groups meet two to three times a year. Each group is led by a coordinator and chairperson.

Horticulture

The group focuses on issues related to production development and innovation within the horticultural field.

Crop Production

The group focuses on issues related to cultivation systems, crop protection, and product quality.

Bio-based Resources

The group focuses on circular and bioeconomy, raw materials for energy and high-value materials, as well as nutrient cycling.

Animal

The group focuses on technology for animal production, as well as local environment and buildnings for good animal health.

Market and Management

The group focuses on profitability, leadership, and added value throughout the production chain.

Forestry

The group focuses on forest management and biology, with an emphasis on management, damages, policy, and conservation.

Communication

The group focuses on:

  • Highlighting and clarifying SLU Partnership Alnarp's key messages.
  • Overall communication of SLU Partnership Alnarp's goals and activities.
  • Supporting the thematic groups, individual project managers, and researchers in their communication of projects and results.
