One Health at the forefront of the global policy agenda

One Health is closely linked to several of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN for 2030. At the ICA's recent meeting, leaders in academia discussed how to promote health for people, animals and our environment. SLU Rector Maria Knutson Wedel, as President of the ICA, signed a commitment to this end.

One Health - the interface between animal, human and ecosystem health

Understanding the complex interface between animal health, human health and ecosystem health needs a multidisciplinary approach and collaboration between several scientific disciplines. SLU has a broad expertise in the One Health area.
