Agenda 2030 and the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development were adopted by the UN in 2015. They aim to reduce poverty and achieve food security, improve education and health, mitigate climate change and ensure the sustainable use of marine and terrestrial ecosystems. SLU's education, research and environmental monitoring and assessment are all aimed at achieving many of these goals. Read more about SLU's contribution to the 2030 Agenda
