We celebrate World Health Day!

We celebrate World Health Day on 7 April by highlighting some of SLU's extensive research and knowledge within One Health. One Health is a health and welfare concept for animals, people and plants in sustainable ecosystems, where the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) contribute with new knowledge.
New folder: A selection of SLU's broad expertise and research in One Health
In connection with the World Health Day on 7 April, we would like to highlight a new folder about SLU's One Health research - an interdisciplinary concept that gives us a holistic approach to health. This brochure presents a selection of SLU’s research and expertise – linked to the One Health concept involving all SLU faculties.
Download/Read the folder: One Health – One world, One planet: Interdisciplinary research on the health of humans, animals, plants, and ecosystems
Watch the movie: What does the concept of One Health mean?
We share our lives with animals and are affected by each other's health. We are also affected by the environment we live in. In this short film, we try to explain how everything is connected, the so-called One Health approach. Watch the movie.
New theme page: Urban Health
In 2024, the two platforms SLU Urban Futures and SLU Future One Health started a webinar series on urban health. To further highlight this increasingly important knowledge field, we have created a theme page where you can find recorded webinars and more content related to the topic.
