Study water at SLU
Water is an integral part of many programs and courses at SLU. We have courses focusing on water issues from different perspectives, for example water quality, aquatic ecosystems, fish ecology, and drinking water.
Interested in the Baltic Sea? Discover all about it at the Baltic Sea Science Center (BSSC) at Skansen, Stockholm, or join our digital events. SLU proudly contributes to the content of the exhibitions and the aquariums.
At BSSC there are aquariums, interactive exhibitions and a discovery lab for students. Learn more about the Baltic Sea, its organisms and the impacts on the system from the 90 million people living around it.
The exhibition gallery targets high school students, and is centered around eutrophication, hazardous substances and fishing. We also invite Swedish school classes to pre-book visits and participate in thematic events.
