Grönt kulturarv®-perennials

Between 2002 and 2010, Pom organised eight nationwide inventories of old horticultural crops. The perennial varieties which are now being released under the Grönt kulturarv® label were found during the “Call for perennials”. This was an inventory of perennials grown in Sweden since before 1940. The varieties have all proven to be robust, healthy and durable with beautiful bloom. All of them have a history, and in many cases, there are traditions, stories and local names attached to them. These have inspired the new varietal names given to these perennials.
