We make the world a better place

SLU is a leading international university providing research, education and environmental assessment within the sciences for sustainable life.

Its principal sites are in Alnarp, Umeå and Uppsala, but activities are also conducted at research stations, experimental parks and educational establishments throughout Sweden.

We bring people together who have different perspectives, but they all have a common goal: creating the best conditions for a sustainable, thriving and better world.

This is SLU

SLU has the knowledge and tools to bring about genuine change. We contribute to something greater and life-changing. Through education, research and environmental assessment we are creating the right conditions for a sustainable, thriving and better world. Watch this short presentation video about us.

What does SLU do for the climate?

We provide knowledge, decision support and facts about climate solutions. We teach our students about sustainability and they inspire us to further reduce our impact on climate.
