Göran Bergkvist researches the development of environmentally friendly and more diversified agriculture that is less vulnerable and less dependent on external input. One important question is how to manage weeds in other ways than by using herbicides and heavy tillage. Weed management is therefore studied from a cropping system perspective, taking into account how weeds interact with the surrounding environment.
