Johan Gaddefors’ research area is rural entrepreneurship. His focus has shifted from dealing with the individual "entrepreneur" to studies of an entire place and how change is happening there – "the entrepreneurial process". Previous research has problematised marketing in small, entrepreneurial firms, development of rapid growing firms and change in large food companies.
