Rahel Wyss is agronomist and scientific collaborator in socio-economy in the Department of International Agriculture at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (HAFL) in Switzerland. She is involved in diverse mandates and project activities in the field of ARD and is teaching BSc students in the field of international agriculture. Beginning of 2016, she has accomplished her Master’s in Applied Agricultural and Forest Sciences at HAFL, where she conducted her research in a project on seed systems and food security in Nepal. Since 2013, she is YPARD Swiss representative engaged in activities to facilitate and promote the entry of young professionals into research and development in the field of environmental and agricultural sciences. 2016, she has joined the management team of EFARD on behalf of YPARD Europe.

Erik Bongcam-Rudloff is Professor of Bioinformatics at SLU. He received his Doctorate in Medical Sciences from Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden in 1994 and his Docentur in Bioinformatics 2004 at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden. Professor Bongcam-Rudloff is the head of the SLU-Global Bioinformatics Centre at SLU. His main research deals with the development of bioinformatics solutions for the Life Sciences community. He is also the coordinator of the EU Horizon2020 B3Africa project and vice chair for the EU COST project CHARME: “Harmonising standardisation strategies to increase efficiency and competitiveness of European life-science research”.

Carolyn Glynn is the Associate Director for SLU Global: Agricultural Sciences for Global Development at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. She works as a Senior Researcher at the Department of Crop Production Ecology, and is the president-elect of Agrinatura (2017 – 2021). Carolyn is the Deputy Program Manager for AgriFoSe2030; Science-based policy and practice to end hunger and promote sustainable agriculture, and is a fellow of KSLA, the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry.
