At the Section for Veterinary Nursing and Applied Ethology is provided training at the bachelor programs in Veterinary Nursing and in Ethology and Animal Welfare. After graduating the Veterinary Nursing program, graduates are entitled to register as a Swedish Licensed Veterinary Nurse. The Ethology and Animal Welfare program gives students a better understanding of animal behavior and needs which is needed in careers as e.g animal welfare inspector. Supplementary training for veterinarians with their veterinary medicine degree from outside the EU and needed to registrar and work as a veterinarian in Sweden is provided too. Research in Veterinary Nursing and Applied Ethology are undertaken at the section.
