This MSc project requires the student to observe social behaviour in five mixed flocks, five gelding flocks and five flocks with mares only. The student will also interview one horse owner per flock around their experiences of taking their horse from the group and the handling of the horse, as well as how the introduction of their horse worked when it was new.
The student needs solid knowledge on ethological methods, be prepared to work outside in all types of weather and have a drivers licence.
