Environmental monitoring at the Värö Bruk paper mill

Our monitoring at the Värö bruk paper mill - this is what we do

• We survey the fish populations in the area with bottom trawls, both within the affected area as well as in the unaffected reference area. Five locations in each area are studied on five occasions, over a three-week period in September.
• We carry out video documentation to assess the environmental condition at the wastewater discharge tube.
• We collect and count eel fry that migrate in the Viskan River.
