Our mission at the Department of Aquatic Resources (SLU Aqua) is to increase knowledge and understanding of the Swedish marine, lake and river ecosystems. We want to enable future generations to benefit from sustainably managed stocks of fish and shellfish in a biodiverse ecosystem. Our research contributes to enhanced environmental quality and improved management of aquatic resources.
