"LTV Plant protein - From production to consumer and innovations" aims to create and establish a hub for the development of the plant protein area, to ensure this thematic research focus on plant proteins, with associated needs for facilities through successful applications, training and joint publications, both popular and scientific. The project will lead to the LTV faculty becoming known for its successful research, education and collaboration along the entire plant protein chain, from plant breeding and cultivation conditions in the field, to protein-based products, consumer aspects of cultivation, production and products, and further to new and innovative plant protein-based products. The project means new opportunities for collaborations along the entire protein chain, between a number of successful research environments at the faculty, which provide unique opportunities for increased visibility and success in research, education and collaboration.
The vision for the project is that the LTV faculty is known for its successful research, education and collaboration along the entire plant protein chain, from plant breeding and sustainable field-based plant production, to protein-based products, consumer aspects of cultivation, production and products, and further to new and innovative plant protein-based products. The goal of this project is to establish a hub for the development of the area, which creates the conditions for successful applications, development of education and joint publications, both popular and scientific. The goal of the project is at least one scientific, and at least two popular science publications, at least one press release, at least three new interdisciplinary projects in new research constellations, securing grants for existing educations and proposals for a new educational program / independent courses in the field and a guaranteed thematic research focus on plant proteins, with associated needs for facilities.
