Project 3 - Great scenery

In the course "Project 3 - Great scenery" ten student groups worked to suggest overarching ideas for spatial planning and future development in Svedala Municipality, Skane. The course ran during spring term 2017, in the third year of the Landscape Architect Programme at SLU Alnarp.
The students began by looking at the municipal comprehensive plan as well as the local and regional physical conditions, as a starting point to implement their own images of a sustainable future society. The resulting ten development proposals served as a basis for physical planning in the municipality under study. The course ended with a presentation of proposals for politicians, officials, media and other interested parties, at the Svedala town hall.
