Purpose of the workshop

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together PhD students in Agricultural Economics and Policy at universities and institutes in Europe to a meeting where they will discuss their on-going research with each other and with more senior researchers, network, exchange ideas and knowledge and find platforms for future collaborations. This workshop, organized for the first time in 2007, is a re-occurring event that is endorsed by the European Association of Agricultural Economists. The workshop rotates among the different universities and institutes in Europe that host agricultural economist departments. In June 2019, it will for the first time be organized in Sweden.

Organization

The workshop will be organized by the Department of Economics at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) at Ultuna Campus, Uppsala, Sweden with support of the EAAE.
