Environmental work

We increase society's knowledge of human impact on the environment through our research, education, and ongoing environmental analysis. This leads to more environmentally conscious decisions. Our negative environmental impact primarily comes from business trips, resource consumption in office and laboratory work, energy consumption, and hazardous waste.

We have several action plans that form the basis of the institution's environmental work, which aims to contribute to the implementation of SLU's environmental goals. Among other things, we will increase the connection to sustainable development in our courses and reduce emissions from our business trips.
