The importance of herbicide concentration in weed control efficiency

This project studied the effect of changing the concentration of herbicides as an consequence of changing the spray rate. The effect of changing concentration on the dose response behaviour was examined for:

• Two types of pesticide - contact and systemic mode of action
• Different spray droplet sizes (spray quality)
