Stumps as fuel - biomass properties and fuel quality
Last changed: 29 April 2011
The project stumps as fuel - biomass properties and fuel quality started in January 2008.
The project aim is to develop new knowledge about the properties of stump biomass as fuel as well as to identify and evaluate how quality parameters are affected by different harvesting and management processes in the supply chain from the forest to the consumer. Furthermore, the objective is to improve raw material supply, improve fuel quality and produce a fuel at reasonable costs, thereby increasing the value of the raw material.
