Simulation of the supply chain for stump fuel systems

The aim is to evaluate different supply systems for stump fuels, from forest to end user, in relation to conventional forest residue systems. The evaluation should consider fuel quality, machine utilization, energy input and economy.

The project was started in September 2011 and is carried out in cooperation with Skogforsk (the Forestry Research Institute of Sweden).
