Agricultural resource supply

A modern farm needs a lot of resources to be productive & efficient. Fuel is needed to power machinery and heat buildings, fertilizers to increase the yield of the fields etc. Our research is focused on how it is possible to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels.

• Bio-char and smallholder farmers in Kenya - improved use efficiency of farm-level organic resources in relation to energy, crops and soil
