This course is given for Ph.D students at SLU.
Contents: Descriptive statistics, basic probability theory, probability distributions, statistical inference of means and proportions, one and two samples. nonparametric and resampling methods. Analysis of frequency data. Use of statistical software.

Statistics II: Experimental Design and ANOVA, autumn, dec/jan, 4 hp, given in English.
This course is given for Ph.D students at SLU.
Content: Design of experiments, Analysis of variance of experiments with one or more fixed and random factors. Block, crossed and nested factors. Multiple comparisons. Nonparametric ANOVA. Use of statistical software.

Statistics III: Regression analysis, spring, jan/feb, 4 hp, given in English.
This course is given for Ph.D students at SLU.
Content: Simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, nonlinear models, nonparametric regression, regression with autocorrelated errors, general linear models (GLM), generalized additive models (GAM). Use of statistical software.

Statistics IV: Generalized and Mixed Linear Models, spring, feb/mar, 4 hp, given in English.
This course is given för Ph.D students at SLU.
Content: Generalized linear models (GLIM), logistic and Poisson regression, log-linear models, mixed linear models, repeated measures data, hierarchical models, generalized linear mixed models. Use of statistical software.
Prerequisties: Statistics I, Statistics II and Statistics III or equiv. Condition: Ph.D. student at SLU.
Analysis of variance and experimental design, autumn, september, 5 HEC, given in Swedish,
Single subject course, Apply at studera.nu
Content: Design of biological experiments. Analysis of variance with one or several fixed or random factors. Block design. Multiple comparisons. Use of statistical computer package.
Prerequisite: A course in basic statisics, approx 5 hp.
