Collaborations and Network

KSC is a key for collaborations, the advantage is to apply Krycklan as a unique experimental platform for testing scientific and practical research questions in a natural environment.

Already initiated collaboration will launch modeling tools that will help predict the effects of human perturbations, such as those caused by forestry, climate change and long-range transport of air pollutants, along with forest biodiversity, forest economy optimization and water quality in forestry practice.

Infrastructure

In the catchment, there are 11 monitored sub-catchments, 200 groundwater wells, and a multitude of tree-sap measurements which provides long-term data for approximately 20 years.
