I am a researcher in forest ecology and management at SLU. My interdisciplinary research focuses on how and to what extent people's health is affected by being in a forest environment. I explore how this knowledge can be applied in various sectors, including nature and health businesses, lifestyle changes, and decision-making in forest management practices.

I am a teacher and researcher in the areas of forest vegetation ecology and nature’s effect on human health. I will, in this project, mainly be working with the development of new courses and managing the project website

The European Tourism Research Institute (ETOUR) at Mid Sweden University develops and communicates scientific knowledge about the tourism and travel sectors from a variety of perspectives, with a focus on sustainable destination development. ETOUR works closely with entrepreneurs, the tourism industry, NGOs and governmental authorities.
Kristin Godtman Kling
I am a postdoctoral researcher in human geography with a focus on accessible nature environments and inclusive outdoor recreation and nature-based tourism. In this project, my main activity will be to conduct research on how tourism entrepreneurs can become more accessible, as well as to develop new courses.
Lusine Margaryan
I am an Assistant Professor at Mid Sweden University, based in Östersund, Sweden. In addition, I coordinate Master's programme in Tourism Studies. My research interests pursue bringing together environmental and social sciences perspectives with a focus on nature-based tourism and outdoor recreation.

Gold of Lapland economic association is a destination organization that works to lift the hospitality industry in Västerbotten's inland. The association is owned by approx. 50 member companies situated in the county.
Floriane Colonnier
I am a project leader passionate about tourism and sustainability. In the project, I will be the contact person between the researchers and the companies on the Swedish side. I will also be involved in the benchmarking and the packaging of experiences.
Karin Fällman Stenlund
I am the manager of Gold of Lapland and in this project, I will work as a project co-worker on the Swedish side in Västerbotten. Working with WP 1 together with Kristinestad's business center in planning and implementation. Responsible for Gold of Lapland's project finances and applications.

Centria University of Applied Sciences is focused on education, research, development and innovation. The R&D department aims to conduct applied research, development- and innovation projects as well as continuing education and expert services. The research, development and innovation expertise are divided into different teams e.g. entrepreneurship and well-being.
Lena Enlund
I am a R & D expert, focusing on nature-based projects. My background is in social sciences and my current research concerns nature-based entrepreneurship and motivation. My primary focus and tasks in this project are communication (mainly with the Finnish entrepreneurs) and arranging the training and courses offered in co-operation with SLU.
Maria Hofman-Bergholm
I´m working parttime as a R&D expert at Centria UAS and also as a PhD student at Åbo Akademi University. My research focus is on sustainability and teacher education, producing academical articles in the sustainability area. As employed at Centria UAS I came in touch with the training of entrepreneurs which has extended my field of research to include areas beyond basic education and teacher training. In this project I have a small part, working with editing material for the guidebook produced in WP 2.
Sara Kåll-Fröjdö
I am a R&D expert at Centria UAS, with a background in outdoor education and experiental education. I am also the project manager of another Aurora-funded project called ICH North, working with intangible cultural heritage. I this project I have a small part, working with editing material for the guidebook produced in WP 2.

Kristinestads Näringslivscentral, as the lead partner in the "Regenerative Nature Tourism" project, plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable tourism practices. Our primary focus in the project is to develop tourism in a way that not only preserves but enhances the natural and cultural environment. This involves working closely with local businesses, community groups, and environmental experts to create tourism experiences that are eco-friendly, culturally respectful, and economically beneficial to the region.

I work as the CEO at Kristinestads näringslivscentral. Our task is to create a solid foundation for businesses in Kristinestad to develop. I will be working in this project with companies from all over Ostrobothnia who want to evolve according to regenerative principles.

I’m working as an Associate Professor at University of Eastern Finland focusing on examining nature-based tourism business. My current research interests are nature connectedness in nature-based tourism experiences, transformative and regenerative tourism, sustainability in tourism firms, designing experiential tourism services, and tourism as a part of bioeconomy. In this project, I’m involved in activities that help to understand how to develop new transformative and regenerative tourism services.

I work as a project manager and a researcher in versatile tourism-related projects at the University of Eastern Finland, Business School. In this project, I will conduct research with my colleagues to find out the most important elements of regenerative nature tourism products and to produce guidelines for companies to help them in creating these new regenarative nature tourism products.

I work as researcher in Recreation and nature values group in Luke. My projects are related to training, development and research of nature-based and animal-assisted social and health care services. I have been involved in developing guidelines for Green Care services, Health Forests and Social educational horse activities in Finland.
Pia Smeds
I am a researcher with a background both in biology (MSc) and education (PhD). My passion is to study how different nature and cultural environments affect our learning, values and attitudes, and how this knowledge can be used to support a more sustainable behavior. In this project my main work is coordinating the project as well as research.
