The SLU Stable Isotope Lab (SSIL)
SSIL performs analyses for stable isotopes of several light elements.
SLU Stable Isotope Laboratory, SSIL measures stable isotope ratios of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen in various samples of solids, liquids, and gases.
The core instrumentation consists of three continuous flow isotope ratio mass spectrometers (DeltaV from Thermo Fisher Scientific) interfaced with various peripheral devices to match the different sample forms. the infrastructure was established in 2016 with contributions from SLU and Kempestiftelserna.
The analytical services are provided for researchers at SLU as well as other Swedish and international universities.
