Education

Our departement conducts bachelor's and master's education within SLU’s Master of forestry program. We also provide PhD courses within our subject areas. The department is also responsible for the activities at the Ljungberg's Laboratory.

Undergraduate and Master's Studies

Our department provides courses in Remote Sensing and GIT, Forest Inventory, Forest Planning, Forest Mathematical Statistics and Organization and Leadership.

Ljungberg's Laboratory

The Ljungberg's Laboratory is a resource for assembling and analyse of remote sensing data, and a meeting place for students, researchers and companies.

Postgraduate Studies

We train doctors and licentiates to become researchers with high international competence in Forest Resource Management, Technology, Mathematical Statistics and Biology.
