SHa concern all sections (see right) at the Department for Forest Resource Management and the programme is organizationally placed directly under the Head of the Department.

The location at the Department secures core competence in computerized analyses and planning systems as well as competence within modeling, forest inventory, management planning, remote sensing and environmental assessment.
