RESDINET 3rd Workshop

The use of remote sensing data in forest disturbance ecology. Located at Skara, Sweden, from October 8 to 10.

In an era of rapid environmental change, understanding forest disturbances is crucial for sustainable forest management and conservation. This event brings together experts and enthusiasts in the field to explore the latest advancements in remote sensing technologies and their applications in monitoring and analyzing forest disturbances caused by spruce bark beetle outbreaks and their association with extreme weather events such as drought, windstorms, and warmth. Through a combination of informative seminars and hands-on workshops, participants will gain valuable insights into the ecological impacts of disturbances and the innovative remote sensing methods used to study them.

The events will be hybrid with in-person and online presentations. We welcome everyone working on those topics to join us online and look forward to productive discussions and collaborative learning with you. Please sign up for the event to join online with the form above, and you will find program details after that.

The event is hosted by the RESDINET consortium. https://resdinet.eu/
