Last changed: 23 October 2024

The pace of change to combat climate change must be quick and sustainable. Biogas is one of the solutions that has a significant role in our future and fossil-free society. The course provides knowledge in all parts related to biogas. You will gain an understanding of the complete circle which includes recycling of residual products, production of fuel and biofertilizer and much more.

The biogas system is a sustainability solution that can contribute with a number of different positive effects. The teaching includes theory, seminars, project work and study visits. Through preparatory assignments and lectures you will learn about topics such as circular economy, biogas process, biofertilizer and gas use linked to biogas production. You will meet actors who work in a number of different biogas areas, which provides opportunities to discuss potential and challenges from different points of view. During the course, you will also, together with your classmates, carry out a project work in collaboration with biogas actors, which gives a good start to your personal network.
