TRANSFOR-M is a dual degree program leading to one SLU degree and one Canadian degree. The TRANSFOR-M program is open to students at the Faculty of Forest Sciences at SLU, admitted to the master programs Conservation and Management of Fish and Wildlife, Forest Ecology and Sustainable Management, Forest Bioeconomy and Euroforester.
Students in the TRANSFOR-M program will study their second year at one of the following Canadian universities (host University):
- University of Alberta
- The University of British Columbia
with the possibility of obtaining two degrees; one from SLU and one from the Canadian host university. SLU students do not pay tuition fees for the year in Canada and remain as SLU students during their time abroad, with the status of outgoing exchange students from SLU. Fee-paying SLU students pay their tuition fees to SLU during their time in Canada.
There are no scholarships available for this program so students have to finance travel and living expenses on their own. Costs related to the different universities in the program are to be found in the Appendix.
