Why did I choose SLU?

- I have no regrets about choosing to study at SLU among the many options I had. However, my decision was largely influenced by the Environmental Communication and Management course. I saw no better option to further explore my academic background in 'environment' alongside my previous work experience in 'communication.' Later on, I realized that SLU is one of the world’s best universities for agriculture. This revelation was more exciting, and I am certain I made the right choice.

My plans after SLU?

- In the near future, I envision myself contributing to and eventually leading a world-class institution that focuses on communicating environmental solutions and shaping global development, with a particular emphasis on Africa.

Memorable time at SLU Campus Uppsala?

- I have many fond memories from my short time so far at SLU. One that easily comes to mind is my attempt at speaking the Swedish language (svenska) during one of the Språk Café events organized by the SLU Library. I was given the impression that I did well, and that further encouraged me to keep learning the language. Additionally, I have had the chance to travel and visit a few other parts of Sweden outside Uppsala.
