Why did I choose SLU?

- When I was exploring Master's programmes, I sought studies that offered a holistic framework for both thinking and acting. Agroecology, which integrates natural and social sciences and reimagines the food system we are all part of, captured my interest. I was so intrigued that I decided to apply. What a delightful day it was when I received the notification of my admission! It is a privilege to come to Sweden and make SLU a part of my life.

What am I studying?

- Agroecology! Have you ever heard about it? If not, here is the definition my fellow students and I came up with when we began our studies in September 2021: “An ongoing socio-economic and culturally transformative movement to fundamentally change the human relation to nature and agriculture to long time sustainability using interdisciplinary approaches.”

What is the best about SLU's campus Alnarp?

- I have one favorite place – and it is the flower garden! Such a beautiful, enchanting, and dear world in itself, a space of peace, wonder, and rest. Here, you can not only learn about annuals and perennials, but you will also encounter insects, feel a tender breeze, make dear friends, and witness blossoms upon blossoms. No matter the season, come here and enjoy the beauty nature offers.
