Environmental Policy
The main question addressed in this course is: how can we design policies aimed at combating environmental damages? We then consider a variety of different types of environmental problems, such as climatic changes, biodiversity losses and water and air quality degradation. The course includes analysis and comparison of different types of environmental policies – command and control, economic instruments, and voluntary agreements- under consideration of risk, uncertainty and time delays with respect to links between human activities and environmental response.
