The Centre for Reproductive Biology in Uppsala (CRU) turns 20 this year and to celebrate this we will arrange an open half-day event called "Fertility – more than eggs and sperm" in Humanistiska teatern (behind Carolina Rediviva) Saturday the 16th of November.
It will be a popular science event open to the public, students and interested researchers from different field. The program will consist of lectures and discussions led by moderator Malin von Essen. The event should give insight to the development of reproductive biology research during the past, and into the future.
We invite all CRU members to join the poster exhibition. All posters should be popular scientific and in Swedish. They can present a project, a research area, a method or something else connected to reproductive biology that you would like to present to the public.
CRU offers help with translation from English if you need it and we will go through all posters before printing to ensure that the text is popular scientific since this is not always an easy task. If you want to, you can already now send text drafts to us for feedback. CRU will organize and pay for printing of the posters that should be 70x100 cm (portrait orientation). It is appreciated if you stand by your poster on the 16th of November but not mandatory. Please send us your poster as PDF via e-mail latest the 1st of October.
We hope you will join our poster session!
