Markku Rummukainen, Professor at the Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science, Lund University, and the Swedish Focal Point for the IPCC, i.e. he represents Sweden at the IPCC plenaries. Markku Rummukainen is Professor in climatology at Lund University, and Climate Advisor at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute. He has long research experience in climate models and scenarios. He is also involved in the UN climate negotiations and the IPCC. He was one of the Lead Authors of the IPCC:s Fifth Assessment Report in 2013. 

Saleemul Huq, Professor at the Independent University Bangladesh (IUB). Prof. Saleemul Huq is the Director of the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) and an expert in adaptation to climate change in the most vulnerable developing countries. He has been a lead author of the third, fourth and fifth assessment reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and he also advises the Least Developed Countries (LDC) group in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

Kristina Blennow, Professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management, SLU. Kristina Blennow is professor of Landscape analysis at SLU and visiting professor at Lund University. Her current research interests are in risk analysis and 'science and proven experience'. She studies the interplay between people and their environment, through this supporting communication, planning and decision-making under uncertain and changing conditions, in particular in relation to climate change. She employs interdisciplinary strategies with empirical methods and computer simulations, often in international collaboration and in close contact with stakeholders.   

Erik Karltun, Researcher at the Department of Soil and Environment, SLU. Erik Karltun is a member of the team that compiles the Swedish reporting of green-house gas (GHG) emissions and uptake from land-use, land-use change and forestry based on national environmental monitoring data.  Erik Karltun’s research focus on forestry and agriculture as drivers of emission or uptake of GHG in Sweden, as well as in East and Southern Africa. He is the Swedish focal point for the Global Soil Partnership.
