Welcome to this lunch seminar on antimicrobial resistance in agrifood systems presented by Dr. Junxia Song, Senior Animal Health Officer at the joint Centre for Zoonotic Diseases and AMR, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The seminar is hosted by SLU Future One Health and SLU Global.
The global emergence of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an issue that spans over several sectors in the society and calls for actions from several academic disciplines. This seminar will address the multisectoral and multidisciplinary dimensions of the AMR issue in a global perspective. The seminar starts with a presentation followed by an open discussion.
