Welcome to the One Health Breakfast Club October 17 between 8.00 and 9.00. You get a short inspirational talk, some breakfast, and a chance to meet and have transdisciplinary discussions with SLU colleagues. Last sign up date October 10. See you there!
Each Breakfast Club starts with a short inspirational talk and then it's up to you to mingle and take the opportunity to enjoy interesting transdisciplinary discussions and initiate new collaborations. Regardless of whether you see yourself as a One Health researcher or not, we promise that you'll find something of relevance for you. Almost all of SLU's research interests are linked to One Health!
Andrea Doeschl-Wilson is a Professor at the Roslin Institute, Division of Quantitative Biology. The Doeschl-Wilson group investigates how the genetics of individuals affects the spread of infectious disease, both within an animal and between animals. We are an interdisciplinary group of scientists aiming to effectively combine field and laboratory experiments with mathematical modelling and quantitative genetics theory, with the ultimate aim to improve livestock health and resilience.
Most welcome,
