EU Days Lund is a yearly open forum for dialogue and exchange of ideas concerning the future of Europe and Sweden. SLU Future Food participates with a panel talk about food planning.
How can we better integrate food security in urban and landscape planning? For Swedish authorities and municipalities, this is a new approach with high potential for development. In Europe however, this is not a novel field. How can Sweden learn from successful European examples, and how do we integrate those experiences and lessons into Swedish food planning?
Welcome to an inspirational conversation on November 14th about food planning as a tool on regional, national and EU level and the role of urban food policy in creating resilient urban food systems.
During the EU Days in Lund 14-15 November, representatives from the public sector, industry, academia and EU institutions come together with students and the general public to network and exchange insights. This year common societal challenges in Europe will be discussed in terms of how they affect society and business in Skåne and wider in Sweden, but also in relation to how we contribute to the future of Europe. Participation is free of charge and registration is open until 6th November.
