SLU Future One Health is a transdisciplinary platform that stimulates and supports SLU research within One Health. On 9 February 2023 we organise a One Health Day with the aim to illustrate the multitude of SLU research that is related to One Health, discuss with actors and researchers outside of SLU on collaboration opportunities to better complete the One Health concept, attract research funding, and contributing to a sustainable future.
NB! Registration is closed!
Target group
SLU researchers, PhD students and other researchers (including from GlobeLife universities) who wish to learn about One Health research at SLU and prospects for future collaboration.
Participation is free of charge, including lunch and coffee. Some travel funding will be available for SLU researchers based on other SLU campuses (see more information below). Note, there is a limited number of seats available!
Note! This is a face-to-face (NOT a hybrid) meeting, but it will be possible to listen to the presentations via Zoom.
What's in it for me?
SLU Future One Health is a transdisciplinary platform that stimulates and supports SLU research within One Health. The aim of this One Health Day is to illustrate the multitude of SLU research that is related to One Health, and discuss with actors and researchers outside of SLU on collaboration opportunities to better complete the One Health concept, attract research funding, and make a difference towards a sustainable future.
Program
One Health is an integrated, unifying approach that aims to sustainably balance and optimize the health of people, animals and ecosystems. It recognizes the health of humans, domestic and wild animals, plants, and the wider environment (including ecosystems) are closely linked and inter-dependent.
During this day, we will listen to research presentations, discuss possible joint efforts for upcoming calls, as well as have the opportunity to influence SLU's One Health focus ahead. We look forward to an interresting day with transdisciplinary research discussions, mingling and networking.
